New music guide The Neu Bulletin (20th June 2014)

Neu’s new music guide featured Baked, Slaves, God Damn and Eternally Dizzy.

The Neu Bulletin is a daily update of the most exciting new things DIY’s listening to. Some of the music you’ll like, some of it you won’t. Think of it as a stream of recommendations that every so often pops up something spectacular.

Every day we offer up a choice show, a song of the day (branched under the understated heading “Big Neu Thing”) and a little something extra that’s caught our attention. Check back here every day for your latest Neu Bulletin delivery.

THE GIG:
CC14 - Slaves, Gnarwolves, God Damn and more - Underworld, CamdenDIY Stage - Underworld

This Saturday, Camden Crawl comes alive with ear-ringing rejoice. Bring a desire for noise and your wishes will be fulfilled - tonight, Slaves, Gnarwolves and God Damn join Johnny Foreigner on an insane DIY Stage line-up at CC14. It promises to be many things, except easy on the ears.

THE BIG NEU THING:
Eternally Dizzy - People Walking

Appropriately, it’s a preferable listening experience to place Eternally Dizzy’s latest track in the ears and incessantly spin round in circles until terrible things happen. A new trio emerging out of Columbus, the band’s driven, amped-up rock ‘n roll isn’t a dish served in half portions. There’s fizz and a severity to ‘People Walking’, a track taken from debut album ‘Dirty Hit’.

OTHER NEU BUSINESS:
Baked - Don’t Trip

From the dizzying artwork to the band name and song title, it’s fairly clear what Baked like to do in their free time. ‘Don’t Trip’ wants to get sedated, and by the end of its tenure you will too. Signed to Exploding in Sound Records, this lead track is taken from a debut LP ‘Debt’, out 19th August.
