News Tour Diary: letlive. (Part Two)
The tour with Enter Shikari definitely came to climax when we hit the two dates at the Electric Ballroom in London. Save a few technically difficulties, the shows were absolutely flawless. It’d been a little while since we had been into the thick of the city, and it proved worth the time.
With the onslaught of sentiments attached to the back to back sold out dates, it almost felt like the tour had ended, but, in reality, we still had a handful of shows left to share with everyone - including a trip to Wales, and the coast - which was quite literally a breath of fresh air.
The final show in Nottingham had been tossed around as and aptly named an official ‘screw with each others’ sets’ day. We experienced some cheese and wine whilst playing on stage from Rob (drummer of ES), dressed in a monkey costume - plus various assorted Haribo gummy candies thrown at us.
Your Demise experienced drum pieces taken off stage, leaving only a snare, hi-hat, and kick, accompanied by liquor and bread thrown about. Enter Shikari, naturally, had the most destructive and tough-to-play-through pranks pulled on them. These consisted of toilet paper wrapping and an entire tour’s worth of people on stage and running about. All in all, good fun, good people, and an absolutely positive outcome. Our time with Enter Shikari is certainly not over with yet.
