30 Rock’s Alec Baldwin raps with a beat-boxing Chance The Rapper

Alec Baldwin rapped lines from Carl Sandburg’s poem ‘Chicago’ at a charity event for YCA.

We’ve already heard about Ezra Koenig’s cameo on The Jack And Triumph Show with none other than Jack McBrayer, who’s best known for playing carefree receptionist Kenneth on Tina Fey’s American comedy show 30 Rock. Clearly today is a big day for 30 Rock and musical collaboration, because actor Alec Baldwin - who plays Vice President Jack Donaghy on the show - has got in on the act as well.

Chance the Rapper has posted a new clip on his Instagram account which shows Alec Baldwin rapping while Chance beatboxes. “This is me beatboxing while Alec Baldwin raps, he is for the people,” he explained. Baldwin recited lines from Carl Sandburg’s poem ‘Chicago’ at an event for YCA, a charity which supports young authors in Chicago.

Chance and Baldwin were joined at the event by actress Alfre Woodward and Ali Shaheed Muhammad of A Tribe Called Quest. Watch below:
