Alex G to play DIY Presents + Now Wave Manchester show
“Internet’s Secret Best Songwriter” plays the Soup Kitchen this March.
Months on from the release of his ‘DSU’ full-length - with word still spreading on his breakthrough release - Alex G has been confirmed for a DIY Presents + Now Wave show in Manchester this March.
Taking place at the Soup Kitchen, 5th March, this is just one of a handful of UK shows the prolific Philadelphia songwriter’s taking to this spring.
Tickets are on sale now from £7, available via Seetickets or in person at Manchester’s Piccadilly Records.
Following the Manchester show, Alex G is looking back to his early days with a remastered version of 2012 cassette release ‘Trick’. Due out 6th April on Lucky Number Music, it’s being led with a new edit of ‘Sarah’, a gorgeous, intimate take from the songwriter’s early days of casual Bandcamp uploads and prolific output.
Two and a half years on from its initial release, ‘Trick’ is available to pre-order digitally and on vinyl here.
