The BPI announced their latest certifications - there’s still more good news for David Gray.

Alt-J’s ‘This Is All Yours’ certified Gold, Beck’s ‘Morning Phase’ silver

Each Friday, the BPI update us all with a list of albums and songs ‘going places’. In short, which releases have been certified Silver, Gold, Platinum in the UK - and in the case of the still-selling ‘White Ladder’ from head-wobbling songster David Gray - 10x Platinum. That’s over three million copies.

There’s big news this week, as Alt-J’s ‘This Is All Yours’ celebrates sales of over 100,000 as it becomes certified Gold, while Beck’s Grammy-winner, ‘Morning Phase’ goes Silver - that’s 60,000 copies shifted.

Over in singles, Rihanna, Kanye and Paul McCartney’s ‘FourFiveSeconds’, Jay Z’s ’99 Problems’, Azealia Banks’ ‘212’, and Fun’s ‘Some Nights’ have gone Gold, meaning over 400,000 copies sold, The Cure’s ‘Friday I’m In Love’, Jamie T’s ‘Sheila’ and Pulp’s ‘Disco 2000’ goes silver (200,000+).
