American Football announce first ever UK shows
Kinsella and co. are set to play three dates next May.
American Football have announced their first ever UK shows, taking in London, Leeds and Manchester next May.
The band, who announced their reunion back in April, have played a handful of shows in the US over the summer, and are now bringing their comeback tour to these shores.
The short run of shows kick off at London’s Electric Ballroom on 14th May, before the band then head to Leeds’ Brudenell Social Club and Gorilla in Manchester for the following two nights.
The band will also be bringing over the gorgeous stage setup that adorned the back of the stage during their recent three night run of shows at New York’s Webster Hall, based on the now famous cover of their 1999 self-titled debut album. The album was re-released as a deluxe edition earlier this year, in conjunction with the reunion.
Tickets for the shows will be available from 10am on Monday (24th November) via americanfootballmusic.com.
Watch the band’s full set from one of their first comeback shows, at the Pygmalion Festival in their hometown of Champaign, Illinois, back in September below.
American Football also play a number of US dates around the end of the year, including New Years Eve and New Years Day shows in Chicago. Check out their complete schedule below.
