Anna B Savage shares new single, ‘II’
London-based artist’s new track follows debut ‘I’.
London-based artist Anna B Savage has shared a new track taken from her upcoming debut EP.
Titled ‘II’, it follows the previously shared single ‘I’ from earlier in the year, with the EP released on 16th May. The four-track release is simply titled ‘I-IV’, with ‘II’ bringing stabbing percussion to a dramatic routine.
Savage’s voice is clearly her weapon of choice, fluctuating around a range that encompasses power, beauty, and rawness. ‘II’’s sonorous timbre is equipped with a post-punk tone - recalling murkier moments of PJ Harvey and Nick Cave’s catalogues - ending with a final yelp and leap into the dark.
Listen to ‘II’ below.
