Anna Meredith shares new track ‘Calion’
It’s been released as part of Adult Swim’s Singles Series.
It’s been a couple of years since Anna Meredith released her amazing album ‘Varmints’, but now the Scottish composer is back with a brand new track!
‘Calion’ has been released as part of Adult Swim’s Single Series and it’s a cosmic journey through intergalactic synth sweeps and grand flourishes, complete with arpeggiated beats, sounds and a bit of syncopation.
So, is there a new album from Anna on the way? Well she was asked on Twitter, where she replied “Ha! Not quite yet… watch this space!” That sounds quite tantalisingly close; keep watching this space indeed.
Last year Anna got animated in her video for ‘Dowager’, which was created by Ewan Jones Morris and mixed together animation and drawings with live-action footage and photos.
