Bands, Including Elbow & Radiohead, Auction Interesting Things For Mines Charity

Elbow and Radiohead are amongst those who have donated items to an auction in aid of the Music Beats Mines project, aimed at helping those affected by landmines.

“MAG [Mines Advisory Group] are giving you the rare chance to bid on some extra special signed merchandise and music memorabilia,” explains the charity. “After twisting some celebrity arms or in some cases just asking politely, we’ve bagged you some unique treats to keep for yourself or wrap up and give to a special one this Christmas…”

The auction will start later on this evening (6pm, Friday 27th November), and it’ll end on Sunday 6th December on eBay. Donations include signed Radiohead artwork from ‘Kid A’, signed Elbow CDs and vinyl, and an hour on the Steinway grand piano at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.
