beabadoobee launches star-studded fourth album ‘Pylon’ with jagged new track ‘Sun Has Set’
The star has also announced details of her first ever arena tour.

beabadoobee has returned in spectacular style, having just confirmed that she’ll be dropping her fourth album, ‘Pylons’, on 18th September via Dirty Hit / Interscope Records - and, what’s more, the LP is set to feature a range of huge names, including Hayley Williams, TURNSTILE’s Brendan Yates, Deftones’ Chino Moreno, and The 1975’s Matty Healy and George Daniel. Phew!
The follow up to her 2024 UK number 1 album ‘This Is How Tomorrow Moves’, ‘Pylons’ will see Bea lean into a heavier, spikier sound, drawing on the influence of her heroes and contributors - among whom are also Pinegrove’s Evan Stephens Hall and Title Fight’s Shane Moran - to reflect on feelings of tour-induced disconnection and isolation.
Taking to Instagram to launch the news, Bea wrote that the record was “made and written in between tours and on tour, i missed home, i missed how people were and im still learning to accept the confusion within the uncertainty of being away.”
Inherently liminal, ‘Pylons’ began life as a series of diary entries; “a lot of the songs on this record are things I wish I could have said to someone,” Bea has noted, speaking about its lead single ‘Sun Has Set’. “This song has this petty tunnel vision - it’s like, I hate you. You’re gonna stay here and listen to how much I hate you. Because I never got to say that.”
