Bestival announces 2018 dates and theme

After a stellar 2017 edition where the likes of Pet Shop Boys, Blaenavon, The xx, The Magic Gang, Dizzee Rascal and more took to the stage, Bestival has announced a major change in date for their 2018 event.

Next year’s Dorset bash will take place between 2nd-5th August 2018, a month earlier than usual. The new festival dates have been chosen as a response to feedback from festival-goers. The festival’s theme has also been revealed, with the event set to celebrate 250 years of the circus.

Rob Da Bank said: “Yes fellow Bestivalites it’s time to run away and join the Circus, Bestival style! Bearded freaks, insane acrobats, high wire daredevils, mutant jugglers and an out of control ringmaster all eager for you to join the most colourful show on earth await! And what makes this show even more unmissable is we have moved into peak season August style and will be open a month earlier than usual… so what are you waiting for?”
