Bethany Cosentino shares folk-pop single, ‘For A Moment’

New track ‘For A Moment’ is another taste of Bethany Cosentino’s next chapter, with a forthcoming LP (her first as a solo artist) exploring reflection, renewal, and embracing change.

‘For A Moment’ epitomises the record’s themes, with Bethany’s emotive vocals taking centre stage over a backdrop of lush harmonies and surging mandolin lines. Speaking about the track, she explains: “The idea for ‘For A Moment’ came to me one morning on a writing trip to Nashville. After waking up to the tragic news of an acquaintance’s partners’ sudden death, I was laying in bed thinking about how quickly it can all be gone, and how important it is to lean into love and vulnerability while we’re here”.

Arriving on 28th July via Concord Records, ‘Natural Disaster’ marks Bethany’s solo debut, and sees her step into the spotlight with confidence and conviction. “My goal is to keep growing and challenging myself and living outside any kind of box”, she says. “It’s really scary to take those risks and make big changes in your life, but what you find on the other side can be so magical”.
