Biffy Clyro are back in the studio

The band shared pictures of ‘recording related things’ happening.

After giving an update on progress towards their next album back in January, it looks like Biffy Clyro are now in the studio recording the follow-up to 2013’s ‘Opposites’. The band have shared picture showing them doing vocal takes, and various other ‘recording related things’.

At the beginning of this year, Biffy said that they had 20 songs written, all of which were “80 per cent finished.” Describing the direction they were heading in, Simon Neil promised a “more aggressive” and concise album. They also confirmed in 2014, speaking to DIY, that work was taking place at the band’s “farmhouse”.

Biffy make their live return on New Year’s Eve, at Edinburgh’s Hogmanay Concert in the Gardens, 31st December.

Have a snoop on their possible recording sessions below.
