Mon the Biff:
Biffy Clyro share new ‘Wolves of Winter’ video
We catch up with the band’s James Johnston before they head to Poland this weekend.

Biffy Clyro have shared the video for ‘Wolves of Winter’ - a glimpse of things to come from their upcoming new album ‘Ellipsis’. There’s a lot going on, here, lets put it mildly.
There are spaceships trading laser-fire! There are dinosaurs morphing into pixel-wolves, sword fights on top of castles, and stars exploding in the middle of the bloody sky! There are even a couple of visual references to Simon Neil and co’s starkers album artwork. Really, if Biffy haven’t managed to cram something into their bonkers ‘Wolves of Winter’ video, it’s probably not worth bothering with in the first place.
“This track is seriously big and called for a video to match,” reasoned Chris Boyle - who was at the helm, directing the video. “So we decided there was only one thing for it – a psychedelic shape-shifting journey of woman and wolf that blasts from the beginning of time to the distant future.” Obviously!
Biffy’s seventh album is out on 8th July. Check out our verdict on ‘Wolves of Winter’ here, and watch the new video below.
