Bjork Unveils Music & Multimedia Residency
Her new ‘Biophilia’ project will get a Manchester premiere.

Bjork has unveiled a three week long music and multimedia residency, which she’ll be holding at Manchester International Festival.
The project - titled ‘Biophilia’ - includes live performances (her first UK dates in over three years) of new songs taken from an album of the same name, and the ‘introduction of companion apps, invented instruments and more.’
There will be six shows held during her time there, all at Campfield Market Hall. She’ll then take the live show on the road to ‘major cities around the world.’
‘It’s an honour to be working with Björk to help her premiere these ambitious live shows and we look forward to taking this residency to key cities around the world,’ says Alex Poots, Festival Director.
Release dates and further information will be confirmed shortly.
