Björk’s summer house in Iceland is up for sale

Icelandic retreat in Selfoss is on the market for £140,000.

Björk has listed her summer house in Selfoss, Iceland for sale, available on the market for £140,000.

According to the Daily Mail, the home has been in Björk’s possession since 2002, a “sanctuary…where Björk wrote many of her hit songs.” The site report that it has been used as a spot for the artist to recouperate and relax after touring.

The lakeside property possesses two bedrooms, a lounge, a boat house, and a wraparound veranda. Located on the southern point of Iceland, the isolated home is available to purchase via an Icelandic real estate website. The lucky buyer can expect a town with a population of just 6.500 as well as access to a privately-run airport.

Head to the website to see pictures of the property here.
