He also brought out Tei Shi and Lil Yachty for a performance of Negro Swan track ‘Hope’.

Blood Orange performed at this weekend’s Coachella in a set that included new album ‘Negro Swan’ tracks ‘Saint’, ‘Dagenham Dream’, ‘Jewelry’ and more, as well as a rendition of new single ‘Hope’ alongside Tei Shi and Lil Yachty.

What was surprising though was the set opener - a performance of Neil Young’s classic ‘Heart Of Gold’.

Blood Orange’s last album ‘Negro Swan’ came out last summer and earlier this month he shared a star-studded video for album track ‘Hope’, featuring appearances from Tei Shi, Diddy, Empress Of, Tyler The Creator, A$AP Rocky and more - you can watch it here.

The musician will be playing the second edition of the 2019 festival this weekend, before heading on a US tour with Florence + The Machine.
