Blood Red Shoes Announce ‘In Time To Voices’ Single Release

Blood Red Shoes have confirmed plans to release a brand new single, in the form of the title track from their latest album.

‘In Time To Voices’ looks set to get an official release on the 27th August, through V2/Co-Operative Music.

Speaking of the inspiration behind the track, vocalist and drummer Steven Ansell said the following: ‘I nipped out and came back to find out that Laura had written most of ‘In Time To Voices’ while I was gone,’ explains Steven Ansell. ‘She thought it was shit but I stuck a couple of mics up and forced her to cut a rough take of the basic chords and vocal melody. I taped a drum part over the top after she’d left, played it back the next day and we both sat back and said ‘this is fucking killer’! It’s also the first ever guitar solo on a Blood Red Shoes song.’

Blood Red Shoes also recently confirmed that they would be supporting The Gaslight Anthem on the latter’s UK tour this October. Dates are as follows.

Also, due to the timing of the tour, the band have moved their previously scheduled headline show at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire from the 18th October to the 22nd January. All tickets remain valid.
