Blood Red Shoes Unveil ‘Lost Kids’ Single Details
Blood Red Shoes released their latest album ‘In Time To Voices’ last month.
Blood Red Shoes have announced that their next single will be ‘Lost Kids’.
Taken from their brand new album ‘In Time To Voices’, the pair will release the track on the 14th May through V2/Co-Operative Music.
Steven Ansell has also given a little extra insight into the song: ‘This was written bang in the middle of the ‘London Riots’. At the time the images on TV were of streets on fire and smashed up buildings, and strangely Laura and I were fighting like crazy at this point. It just felt like there was a lot of destructive, frustrated energy in the air, but we didn’t want to write about it as an overtly political song, so this is an attempt to bring together all of that into one. It does feel like there are many lost souls in the world right now.’
The Brighton-based duo are also about to head out on an extensive UK tour, beginning in Brighton the the 27th April and recently announced their largest headline show to date, at London’s Shepherd Bush Empire in October.
