Blur & Pet Shop Boys Confirmed For Berlin Festival

Berlin Festival has revealed its first acts for 2013, including headliners Blur. The band will be joined by the likes of Pet Shop Boys, who will also play the main stage, and Turbostaat.

The event - up for Best Medium-Sized Festival at this year’s Sonic Euro Festival Awards Europe - will take place from 6th - 7th September at Tempelhof Airport and Arena Berlin.

Blur have also recently been confirmed for Øya Festival along with Haim, Angel Haze and Of Mice And Men, as well as local Norwegian acts Tønes, Monica Heldal and Rebekka Karijord.

They are also confirmed to appear at 2013’s Rock Werchter (Belgium, 4th - 7th July) and Primavera (Spain, 24th May; Portugal, 31st May).
