Blur To Play Intimate 100 Club Show
The band have been revealed as the ‘very special guests’ for August’s Converse Represent show.

Blur have been announced as the ‘Very Special Guests’ at Converse’s ‘Represent’ series of free gigs, taking place at London’s 100 Club.
As reported by NME, the band will headline the August 2nd show at the intimate venue alongside the previously announced The Bots, Savages and Swiss Lips. A first round of free tickets have already been allocated (top marks if you saw this one coming and already sorted yourself out), but another give away will be available a day before the gig on August 1st.
Registration for the give away will open at 9am at https://www.converse.co.uk/blur, closing at 6pm with winners notified by email. Anyone successful will need to confirm they can attend by 12pm on August 2nd.
Blur are set to play a duo of sets for BBC Radio - a Maida Vale session for 6music then a one hour set for Radio 2 - on July 31st before heading to Margate on August 1st to kick off a run of shows, culminating with their headline appearance in Hyde Park on August 12th.
Other bands playing the Converse Represent series include Plan B, SBTRKT, Japandroids, Pulled Apart By Horses, Best Coast and Django Django. The dates in full read:
