Firme fever
Brie Larson is the missing Haim sister in a new Funny Or Die video
Meet Frime. She wants to join the band. Yeeeaaah…
We all know the Haim sisters have a strong bond, but did you know that there’s a missing Haim sister?
Yeah, okay, not really, but a new Funny Or Die sketch imagines what it would be like if Danielle, Este and Alana Haim had an unknown sister. Who really, really wants to be in the band. So, step forward Academy Award winner Brie Larson, better known as Frime Haim.
Frime doesn’t have much musical talent, so she’s a bit of a black sheep, but she still wants to get in on the act. She also doesn’t know how to pronounce her own name. Bit embarrassing. No wonder the trio look kind of, er, uncomfortable at certain occasions in the clip.
So, um, the actual sisters’ new album ‘Something To Tell You’ is out on 7th July. Don’t worry, Frime won’t be making an appearance.

HAIM: Calling It Quits
Now over a decade into their career, HAIM have long since hit their stride — and, having already spent years navigating the industry’s infamous fickleness, on fourth record ‘I quit’ they literally “don’t give a fuck”. With a period of break-ups, overthinking, and crippling self-doubt now behind them, the LA sisters are letting their hair down, ready to abandon fear and embrace a summer of vulnerability, freedom, and fun.
