Caribou trades generations for new ‘Our Love’ video

Initially it’s strange seeing Caribou’s ‘Our Love’ track coupled up with rolling fields, slow-dancing and an old person picking the remaining nibbles of a wedding ceremony, but thematically it matches up with the themes on the album of the same name.

Here, director Ryan Staake sees a married woman’s life roll back the years, trade generations in a beautiful transitionary clip. Played out like a single shot, it sees an elderly woman trading places the the younger wife she used to be, with the whole scene backed by Caribou’s banger-ready embrace.
