Caribou’s Dan Snaith releases new Daphni edit
‘Usha’ brings together tracks from Usha Uthup and Alex Israel.
Caribou’s Dan Snaith has released a new mix / edit under his Daphni guise, following on from a headline appearance at London’s Field Day festival.
‘Usha’ sees Snaith bringing together the work of Usha Uthup’s ‘Main Gul Baden’ and Alex Israel’s ‘Colugo’. He’s made a disclaimer to say he’s not claiming “authorial input”, and he asks fans to “support the original tracks / artists.”
Listen to the Daphni edit, ‘Usha’, below.
Caribou will play Latitude (16th-19th July), where DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now. Visit diymag.com/presents for more information.
