Catalan Trio Cut Your Hair Stream New Single

So the sun has gone away somewhere far today. But fear not, there is a light.

Let us introduce you to Cut Your Hair. Despite having a name akin to what your mother would constantly groan at your when you were 15, the band instead sound like nostalgic scuzzy indie-pop from years past.

They’re kinda like Best Coast’s ramshackle younger brothers. If only Best Coast was from Barcelona, which they’re aren’t. They’re from California, and by golly do they go on about it.

New single ‘Utah In Pictures’ is out at the end of this month, the 30th of April to be precise, but you can stream the track in full below.

Sergio Cut Your Hair had this little snippet to say about the track:

“I was tired of the place I was living in, so I just went on the internet to check out some cities from wherever… like planning what would be in the future for me. And I bumped into this page with pictures of Salt Lake City. It looked sort of decadent in a way, it inspired me, I knew I had to write the song.”

‘Utah In Pictures’ will be released on the excellently-named label, Mushroom Pillow.
