Catholic Action bring the weirdness with their ‘Breakfast’ video

The Glasgow band play London’s Old Blue Last tonight.

Catholic Action have a new video for ‘Breakfast,’ and like the bacon and egg melding meal from whence this song takes its name, it might just stand up as the best combination of the day.

There’s choreography, swinging microphones, and upside down shots with zero context to be found, here. There’s even a cameo - for no logical reason - from one of the Glasgow band’s pals; strapped to a trolley, and serving as the band’s mobile amp holder. We’re not sure what that bit’s all about, tbh.

The ace ‘Breakfast’ follows on from previous singles ‘Rita Ora,’ ‘The Wash’ and ‘L.U.V’. Catholic Action are currently wrapping up a UK headline tour, too. They play London’s Old Blue Last tonight.
