Swan song Chairlift announce their final shows
The run will take place in the US in April.
After releasing their third album ‘Moth’ last January, Chairlift decided to call it a day last month.
The duo – Patrick Wimberly and Caroline Polachek – said in a statement that “the time has come to take the next step towards where our passion is pulling us”. Patrick is expected to continue his extensive work in production, while Caroline is likely to focus on her solo work, but not before going on one last run of shows.
Their final run of gigs is set to take place in the States in April, kicking off in San Francisco on the 7th and taking in Los Angeles, Chicago, Austin, Allston and Philadelphia. They’ll play their very last show in their hometown of Brooklyn on 22nd April.
