Chance the Rapper duets with a puppet in the ‘Same Drugs’ video

Chance the Rapper took to Facebook Live recently to premiere his video for ‘Same Drugs’.

The alternate version of the track used in the clip features vocals from Eryn Allen Kane, Yebba, John Legend, Francis Starlite (aka the guy from Francis and the Lights) and Macie Stewart. It’s therefore not surprising that someone was going to appear alongside Chance in the clip. Bet you thought they’d be human though.

Nope, instead Chance is joined by his many puppets from his Magnificent Coloring World Tour, and much of the video is dedicated to him singing a duet with one of them, who also happens to be a 1920’s flapper. Eventually Chance sees an opportunity to escape though, and breaks the fourth wall by walking through the studio and leaving, turning many puppet heads in the process.
