Chet Faker shares new single ‘1998’ feat. BANKS
The track is a re-recorded version of the ‘Built On Glass’ highlight.
Chet Faker has shared a new version of ‘1998’, one of the highlights of his debut album ‘Built On Glass’.
Premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show, the newly recorded single features BANKS, providing vocals across the track’s woozy handclap beat. It’s pretty much the same as the original, save for Jillian Banks’ voice cutting in-between the tempo with an understated whisper after the first hook.
Chet Faker’s ‘Built On Glass’ is out now on Future Classic, and BANKS’ debut album ‘Goddess’ is out on Good Years.
