Dead Dads Club to release self-titled debut album in 2026
Chilli Jesson’s new project was produced in collaboration with Fontaines DC’s own Carlos O’Connell.

Having recently introduced the world to his new project with debut single ‘Don’t Blame The Son For The Sins Of The Father’, Chilli Jesson has now confirmed that the first full-length from Dead Dads Club will arrive on 23rd January 2026 via Fiction Records.
Chilli’s latest venture follows his stints as frontman of Palma Violets and Crewel Intentions, but is undoubtedly his most personal project yet, named as it is for his emotional journey following the death of his father when he was 14. Seeking escape in his former bands, Chilli found himswelf at a creative dead end before meeting and playing with Fontaines DC, which re-inspired him to make ‘Dead Dads Club’ (with Fontaines’ own Carlos O’Connell behind the mixing desk, too).
He’s marked the album announcement with a new single entitled ‘Goosebumps’ - a track that captures the omnipresent unease of our current sociopolitical climate. Speaking about the song, Chilli has explained: “I grew up fearing suits in offices, but now it’s geeks up in the valley selling salvation while chasing power — and they scare me even more; at least politicians have always been crooked, so we knew where we stood.”
