Dead Dads Club offer up raw new album preview ‘Volatile Child’
The debut LP from Chilli Jesson’s new project will land in January.

Having recently made his musical return under a new moniker, Dead Dads Club, Chilli Jesson (formerly of Palma Violets and Crewel Intentions) has now dropped another new single entitled ‘Volatile Child’.
The third track to be lifted from Dead Dads Club’s forthcoming self-titled debut album (due out on 23rd January 2026), this latest cut follows recent releases ‘Goosebumps’ and ‘Don’t Blame The Son For The Sins Of The Father’, and sees Chilli dive further into the emotional journey he was forced to undertake following the death of his father.
“The song follows a young man standing at the edge of his breaking point in a small YMCA room in Paris,” Chilli has explained. “Lost in the noise of grief and isolation, he’s pulled back from the brink when he sees a vivid, grounding vision of his late father.”
