Claud offers up new track 'It’s Not About You' • News • DIY Magazine

Claud has offered up another cut from their forthcoming new album ‘Supermodels’.

‘It’s Not About You’ follows on from their previous singles ‘Wet’ and ‘Crumbs’, both of which were shared late last month. All three of the tracks are set to appear on their second album - that follows their 2021 debut ‘Super Monster’ - which is due for release 14th July via Saddest Factory Records.

Speaking of their newest track, Claud has said: “‘It’s Not About You’ is a song I wrote about people taking the things you’re going through personally. I experienced this heavily when I was first coming out and receiving reactions that solely centreed on the other person focusing on how my identity was going to affect their life. It’s frustrating and isolating, so this song goes out to those who are experiencing backlash at times when they really need support.”
