Courtney Barnett shares new song, ‘Pickles in the Jar’
Melbourne musician’s putting out a new compilation of her own this August.
Prolific Aussie musician Courtney Barnett has just shared a new track, running separate from sessions for her forthcoming debut album.
The Melbourne-based songwriter’s new song, ‘Pickles In The Jar’, appears as part of a forthcoming compilation on her own label, Milk! Records. The release also features The Finks and Royston Vasie.
Sessions for her debut album are reported to be finished. It’s due out in early 2015, following on from ‘Double EP: A Sea of Split Peas’.
Earlier this year Courtney Barnett took over Glastonbury with secret sets and an appearance on the Park Stage. Watch her perform ‘Out of the Woodwork’ here.
