Courtney Barnett takes a trip to the suburbs in ‘Depreston’ video

Track is taken from ‘Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit’.

Courtney Barnett has unveiled ‘Depreston’, the second track to be lifted from her forthcoming debut album: ‘Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit’.

Taking in the grim scenes of lonely, empty-street suburbs, the track arrives alongside visuals of the song’s grey old scene. Courtney’s story details a house viewing, with banal lyrics (“aren’t the pressed-metal ceilings great?”) coupled up with sunken, dogged-down delivery.
