Danielle Haim involved in car accident en-route to pre-Grammys party
Band singer and guitarist said to be ‘fine’
Haim singer and guitarist, Danielle Haim, was forced to miss a pre-Grammys party on Friday night after being involved in a car accident on the way to the event.
In a small statement issued to Billboard, a band representative was keen to stress that the middle Haim sister was ‘fine’, even though the incident also kept her from attending last night’s infamous Clive Davis-hosted pre-ceremony gala- a glitzy get-together that has become something of a tradition in the annual Grammys calendar.
As such, it remains unclear whether she’ll be fit enough to make it to tonight’s Grammy Awards ceremony, where Haim are amongst the nominees for Best New Artist.
Set to open select dates on new best mate Taylor Swift’s forthcoming ‘1989’ tour, last month the sisters hinted that work had begun on the follow-up to their debut 2013 LP ‘Days Are Gone’ by tweeting a picture of producer Ariel Rechtstaid in direct from the recording studio, backed with the cryptic caption ‘Uh ohz’.
Update: Haim have tweeted to confirm Danielle is ‘110% ok!’
