Death From Above 1979 stream ‘The Physical World’ in full

Listen to the almighty new DFA 1979 album - their first in ten years - ahead of release.

Ahead of its Monday 8th September release, the explosive, monstrously huge new record from DFA 1979 is streaming in full. It’s Tuesday, it’s just gone past 3 ‘o clock - listening to this should go to the top of everyone’s priorities, in that case.

‘The Physical World’ is Jesse F. Keeler and Sebastien Grainger’s first album in ten years, following on from ‘You’re A Woman, I’m A Machine’. By all accounts this lives up to the billing - DIY’s 4 star review says: “Disco punk wielding a satanic chainsaw, DFA1979 have evidently been grafting on limbs of the dismembered Rapture.

“Time may have moved on, but Death From Above 1979 remained in constant motion with it. Two for two, flawless victory - this is still the perfect band.”
