Marking their almighty comeback, a new documentary has been commissioned that looks at the return of Death From Above 1979.

Titled ‘Life After Death From Above 1979’, it peers into the decade between 2004 debut ‘You’re a Woman, I’m a Machine’ and their superb second album ‘The Physical World’.

Set to feature interviews with the band themselves, it also contains accounts from members of The Strokes, Justice, Yeah Yeaah Yeahs and Metric.

It’s not gaining an official release physically, but it’s coming out 7th October on Vimeo On Demand with a trailer viewable below.

Catch up with DFA 1979’s DIY interview, where they discuss “risking everything” in order to return.

DFA 1979 play the following UK dates:

OCTOBER
