Deerhunter announce new album ‘Fading Frontier’, stream ‘Snakeskin’
Seventh full-length and follow-up to 2013’s ‘Monomania’ is due October 16th via 4AD.
Time’s up. That countdown that emerged this weekend via Deerhunter’s website has ticked its last tock, bringing forth details of a new full-length entitled ‘Fading Frontier’ and a video for its lead single ‘Snakeskin’.
Announced at 11pm EST ahead of a two-hour radio show hosted by the band’s frontman Bradford Cox on both Atlanta radio station 1690 AM and the band’s website, ‘Fading Frontier’ is due for release on October 16th via 4AD. It’s the band’s seventh full-length, following on from 2013’s lauded ‘Monomania’ LP.
The record’s first single ‘Snakeskin’ comes accompanied by an unsettling video, which you can see below - check out the artwork and full track-listing for ‘Fading Frontier’ too, along with all Deerhunter’s upcoming tour dates.
