Deftones preview new album with ‘Doomed User’
‘Gore’ is due next month.
Deftones have unveiled ‘Doomed User’, the latest track to be taken from new album ‘Gore’.
With their eighth studio album due 8th April on Reprise, this latest cut links up with opening track ‘Prayers/Triangles’, which came out back in February. This one will “shake your body down to ground,” according to Chino Moreno.
On the new album, Abe Cunningham recently told DIY: “We really never have a plan, for better or worse - and we’re still here today so I guess we’re doing okay - but in terms of concept records and stuff, we kinda just go in and see what comes out. It’s all very reactionary. No one ever goes in with full songs; it’s never been that way. It’s about us feeding off each other’s ideas.”
Listen to ‘Doomed User’ on Sirius XM.
