Deftones drop second ‘private music’ preview ‘milk of the madonna’
Their tenth album, ‘private music’, lands at the end of the month.
Having announced plans for their tenth album last month, Sacramento icons Deftones have now offered up another pre-release taste of what to expect from ‘private music’.
New cut ‘milk of the madonna’ is a thrashing, no-holds-barred effort that comes in the wake of lead single ‘my mind is a mountain’; together, the pair of bangers suggest that this next LP is shaping up to be a frankly huge affair.
Due to hit shelves on 22nd August via Reprise/Warner Records, ‘private music’ will act as a follow up to 2020’s ‘Ohms’, and was recorded between Malibu, Joshua Tree, and Nashville with producer Nick Raskulinecz - the third time the band have had him behind the mixing desk.
