Deftones detail new album ‘Gore’, poke fun at Kanye West
After streaming its first single yesterday, the Sacramento rockers have offered up more info on their new album.
Yesterday saw the release of ‘Prayers/Triangles’, the first single to be taken from Deftones’ long-awaited new album. Today, they’ve confirmed further details of the record.‘Gore’ - set for release on April 8th via Warner Bros Records - now comes complete with a full tracklisting and album artwork. They’ve named the final track after everyone’s favourite kebab shop drink.Both of those can be found below - in the meantime, though, the band’s frontman Chino Morena wants to clear something up. “Out of respect for Pac, Big, Stevie, Michael, Hendrix,” he says, “‘Gore’ is ONE of the greatest albums not the greatest, just one of.” Poor Kanye.
