Sacramento rock troupe Deftones have returned with new album ‘Gore’ and its lead single ‘Prayers/Triangles’. Premiered moments ago on Zane Lowe’s Beats1 show as his World Record, ‘Prayers/Triangles’ finds the band confidently striding upon the tightrope of their most melodic and heaviest influences. Following on from 2012’s ‘Koi No Yokan’ LP, it finds the band’s ever-expanding widescreen scope continuing to grow in stature. Stream it below. It’s taken from ‘Gore’, Deftones’ 8th LP, which is set for release on April 8th via Warner Bros Records. We went in the studio with the band this time last year as they constructed it. Deftones are set to play Wembley Arena on June 3rd, shortly before a slot at Download Festival.
