Dermot Kennedy has been unveiled as the final headliner for this year’s All Points East Festival. The Irish singer-songwriter will close the day’s music at East London’s Victoria Park on Sunday 27 August. Kennedy joins the previously announced headliners for 2023: Stormzy on Friday 18th August, The Strokes on Friday 25th August, Jungle on Saturday 26th August and HAIM on Monday 28th August. Since initially building a reputation as a busker in his native Dublin, Kennedy has since released the best-selling Irish debut album of the century so far with 2019’s ‘Without Fear’, which earned him a BRIT nomination for Best International Male Solo Artist. His second album ‘Sonder’ followed in 2022. Kennedy played All Points East for the first time in 2019, and artists supporting him at Victoria Park this year will include James Vincent McMorrow, Olivia Dean, Rachel Chinouriri and Nick Mulvey. Tickets for the event go on general sale at 10am on Thursday 6th April from the festival’s website.
