Dev Hynes joins forces with Brydon Cook for new project VeilHymn
The pair previously worked together on Blood Orange’s ‘Freetown Sound’.

Dev Hynes (aka. Blood Orange) only released his latest album ‘Freetown Sound’ last summer, but he’s already cracking on with the next musical project. Now, he’s teamed up with Brydon Cook - of Starchild and the New Romantic fame - for a collaborative thingy called VeilHymn.
To mark the occasion, the duo have shared their debut track. On the slinking, jazzy slow-burner, Cook takes up lead vocal duties, with Hynes working production magic and providing soulful backing vocals.
The pair go back a fair while; Cook toured with Blood Orange, and featured on his previous record.
Listen to VeilHymn’s new song ‘Hymn’ below.
