Confirmed Diet Cig confirm sophomore album ‘Do You Wonder About Me?’
The duo have also shared new banger ‘Thriving’.
Back with news of the follow-up to 2017 debut ‘Swear I’m Good At This’, Diet Cig have confirmed that their new record ‘Do You Wonder About Me?’ is set to land on 1st May via Frenchkiss Records!
And to celebrate the news, the dynamic duo that is Alex Luciano and Noah Bowman have also shared lead single ‘Thriving’! That’s nice of them, init?
“‘Thriving’ is a cathartic, campy release of feelings,” they explain. “It’s about the duality of absolutely THRIVING without someone but also desperately wanting them to notice you doing so. Inspired by the melodrama of reality TV and musical theater, we wanted the song to bounce back and forth between a lavish personal anthem and the anguish of feeling forever beholden to others opinions.”
