DIY Presents Tour 2014 in Association with PledgeMusic: Bandwagon supports confirmed

Tomorrow (23rd October) marks the first day of the DIY Presents Tour in Association with PledgeMusic.

Flyte and Shy Nature are taking to six free entry shows across the UK, before joining up with Jaws, Deers and more for the DIY London all-dayer on 1st November (tickets are available here).

When announcing the tour, we offered the chance for a different new band each night to join up with Flyte and Shy Nature. Hundreds of acts entered via Bandwagon before being hand-picked by DIY for the tour.

We’re delighted to announce the full list of names - dream-pop duo Wyldest are playing the London leg on 1st November, while the ‘80s-nodding Desperate Journalist and Brighton’s High Tyde are also joining in on the fun. Seven fresh faces are taking part in total, all opening a night on the tour.

“This going to be a really special show, we’re pretty ecstatic to be opening it,” say North London’s Wyldest about their involvement.

Playing the Bristol leg (23rd October), Wasters say: “We’re beyond stoked to be a part of the DIY Presents… tour, as so many of our own favourite bands were introduced to us through DIY. Flyte and Shy Nature are both super talented and great bands, so the fact we get to share a stage with them is something we’re very much looking forward to.”
