Drake reported to be hosting a guest show on Apple’s iTunes Radio
Star-studded streaming venture is expected to launch next week.
Apple’s highly-anticipated revamped streaming service iTunes Radio is expected to launch next week, and Drake is reported to be involved as a guest DJ.
Rolling Stone has been informed that the rapper will be involved in the service, following the release of his ‘If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late’ project.
The New York Post is also reporting a potential involvement from Pharrell Williams and David Guetta, although representatives for both artists have declined comment.
Any launch is set to take place at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference, running from 8th-12th June in San Francisco.
Earlier this year, Zane Lowe left his position at BBC Radio 1 for a new role in spearheading iTunes Radio. Four producers from the station also swapped companies for a job at Apple.
The revamped iTunes Radio is expected to launch with a free trail option for its usual $9.99 monthly rate.
