Drake’s label forgot to submit ‘Hotline Bling’ for inclusion in The Grammys

If you’re reading the Grammy nominees, it’s too late…

Drake must be rolling through the six with his woes. After many people pointed out the ‘snubbing’ of ‘Hotline Bling’ at this year’s Grammy Awards, it’s turned out that Drizzy’s label forgot to submit it for inclusion. Woopsy!

The industry website Hits Daily Double reports that Drake’s label Cash Money didn’t put forward the single due to a “due to a clerical error”. It also notes “that huge hit might well have been a multiple-category contender but for this goof.”

As it stands, Drake only got a measly five Grammy nominations (poor guy). As well as Best Rap Album for ‘If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late,’ he’s up for awards for his appearances on Nicki Minaj’s songs ‘Truffle Butter’ and ‘Only’. He’s also nominated in the Best Rap Performance category, for his diss track ‘Back To Back’.

Keep dancing, Drake, it’ll all be ok.
