Drenge cover Taylor Swift’s ‘Bad Blood’ in BBC R1 Live Lounge
The Derbyshire band take T-Swift’s pop banger in a rather unpredictable new direction.
For their BBC Radio 1 session, recorded for Annie Mac’s show last night (June 23rd), Drenge took on an unpredictable but genius song choice, Taylor Swift’s pop banger ‘Bad Blood’.
The Derbyshire band gave the ‘1989’ single a huge helping of fuzz-covered angst, and while Eoin Loveless doesn’t have quite the same vocal range nor timbre as Taylor, he brings something oddly, arrestingly sassy to the table instead.
Listen to Drenge’s Live Lounge take on T-Swift’s ‘Bad Blood’ below.
Drenge will play Latitude (16th-19th July), where DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now. Visit diymag.com/presents for more information.
