Drenge unveil sinister ‘Running Wild’ video

Loveless brothers explore death and rural life in their new clip.

Drenge’s already saw-toothed, deadly ‘Running Wild’ song has been given an extra edge, through a new video directed by Ed Lovelace.

Lovelace also directed the brutally violent video for ‘We Can Do What We Want’. On this new clip, he explores the day-to-day existence of rural life, speaking to “the Richardson family” about their traditions.

“It was an honour to work with Ed Lovelace again on this film, and we’re very grateful to the Richardson family for letting us film in the craggy limestone fells of Throwley Farm on the Derbyshire/Shropshire border,” Drenge say.

The brothers themselves star in the video, but it’s mostly devoted to vast open space and eerie shots of the Richardson family.

Drenge will play Latitude (16th-19th July), where DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now. Visit diymag.com/presents for more information.
